How to Start a Blog

This article is about how to start your own blog. A lot of my friends were asking me about how they also can start and manage their own blog and make some profit out of it. I am going to share whatever the limited knowledge I have gained over the past few months of blogging. You will find a lot of articles online giving you tips and tricks about blogging but here I am going to mention all the bare minimum basics which you need to start posting.

Now, in my opinion, the basic concept of blogging is to share whatever knowledge you have with others on the internet. Still, many of big blogs get its popularity because of its content and quality of the content. There are many people who love to read these days rely on good blogs which will suit their interest. The piles of books these days getting replaced by a smartphone and there comes the importance of a good blog which the reader will find engaging.

There are 2 types of blogging platforms which are the most popular.
1. WordPress
2. Blogger

They both are very popular among bloggers all over the globe. But they are different in their own way. I will try to elaborate on all the pros and cons of each one on a separate post.

No matter which platform you choose the main mantra to up your game still will depend on your content. I would like to mention some very important points to keep in mind while starting a blog.

• Choose a topic which you personally love don't just follow the market and go for a topic which you don't find interesting so the quality of the content will degrade.
• Always try to write your own original content do not try to copy because users love posts which have your personalized view on a topic.
• Be very careful about the images and content you write before posting go through a copyright check using any of the online tools available.
• No matter if you don't have any knowledge of programming you can write and post conent easily using any of those two platforms I've mentioned before.
• Choose a design which is suitable for your content or needs you get many themes on those two platforms.
• Always listen to your readers and take feedback from them and write engaging content which they can relate to.
• Lastly, I would suggest going for a mobile phone friendly design as it is usually where everyone reads blogs.
